~ The DAWN ~
Jeremy lay there on his bed, waiting for it to happen. It was late this night, he
wasn't sure if it would happen at all. Staring up at the ceiling, Jeremy thought to himself.
His mind wandered, and he had no reason to stop it. Jeremy shuddered, his mind went
somewhere he did not want to go. Shaking his head, Jeremy sat up in his pajamas; the
ones his mother had given him two years before when he was 12. He was rapidly growing
out of them, both physically and self consciously. He fumbled around on the floor,
looking for the remote he had carelessly dropped into a pile of clothes that swallowed
everything that came in contact with them. His messy room was worse than most;
bookshelves sagging in the middle, under the weight of useless junk like those stupid
magic eight-balls.
He heard a crash.
His elbow had bumped his clock radio off his glass table. The display went out,
plunging his windowless room into now absolute blackness. But that was OK, because his
fumbled across the remote he had been searching for all this time. He flipped on the 28

~ * ~ The Dreamer ~ * ~
I closed my eyes, then I opened them again, and there I was, walking around in the
teen services building. This building includes everything that a teen or student needs.
Things like places to pick up job applications, music stores, sports stores, and also
equipment stores. It also has some wants too. Some wants of the teens in this city are
like food courts, arcade's, video and game rental stores, and last but not least the movie
theaters. The movie theaters are a teens favorite place to go and relax in this city. Of
course I w as there getting a job application for a music store called MusiK World. This
music store was a really famous store through out the teen generation. When I got the
application I folded it up, stuck it in my pocket, and walked towards the south exit of the
building. I walked out the doors and I turned around and looked at the building. That
made me realize that this building looked alot like my school, it was even in the exact
same spot as my school too, so I was wondering what was going on. Then I looked back
down at the doors that I just walked out of and saw two of the biggest, heaviest, metal,
silver-coated machines ever standing there staring right at me. They were standing there
like two really big trees, trees the size of buses. I turned back around thinking that they
were just new things that they were adding on to the building. I started walking home. It
takes me only like ten to twenty minutes to walk home but it was still walking. As I
started walking I heard really heavy footsteps behind me. It sounded as if the footsteps
were putting the engravement of the foot in the pavement. I turned my head only to see
the two machines following me. I hadn't even walked five meters and I came to a
complete stop. The reason I stopped was not to see if the machines would stop to it was
to look at the all time car sitting there right in front of me. This all time car was a black,
1997 Dodge Viper G/T. This car had all the letters in gold, brass hubcaps, four twelve
inch speakers in the trunk, two sub-woofers, a cd and cassette deck, and all terrain
tires..........this was the car that I had seen earlier on that day in the car show called World
of Wheels. That was the best car I had seen there and now it was sitting right in front of
me. I walked around to the other side of the Viper to try to talk to the owner of the
Viper. The machines that were behind me started walking again, but only when I was
walking. So they stopped when I did. So I knocked on the guys window, he rolled it
down to see what I wanted. I talked with the man for a while, we talked about how he
got his car so good and how I could try and get one. Then I guess the machines got tired
of waiting for me, since they had been standing there for about an hour. I opened the door
to the Viper and told him that two big ass machines had been chasing me from the doors
of the building and that I needed his car. He didn't believe me and he said.....
